Seven Weeks To Go

Yes, that’s all – seven weeks to go! Seven weeks tomorrow, we will be packing our cars and heading north or south towards a great weekend.

By now, you should be considering what photos to get printed (yeah right, Jenny – heed your own advice) and generally thinking about what you want to scrap. Unlike a number of other camps, this one should really be called a retreat. Apart from the wonderful Jo who leads a fantastic class for us every year, and a few non-compulsory challenges, the rest of the time is scrapping time. A time for you to catch up and do as much or as little scrapping as you like. Forrest Lakes also has some lovely walks so there is time to get out and enjoy the fresh air (and take more photos) too. The Bendon factory shop is in Otaki just five minutes away for those who need new lingerie.

I will send out a few more emails; one will have information about making page kits; as we get closer to the time.

At this stage, I would like to thank the wonderful Steph at Up2Scrap for the huge box of goodies I received today. Steph never forgets us and I am very grateful to her for that

If you email me a photo of yourself getting your photos ready for Camp by next Wednesday at 8pm, I will put all the names in a hat for an RAK to be given to you at camp. Keep checking back here as you may see some more challenges appearing!

Some updates

Well, the updates have been a loooooooong time coming but here we go!

ScrapCamp is full - but I am taking names for a waiting list

Total cost is $180 which covers your bed, food, and scrapping space for three days. There will be a few extra treats of the scrapping variety for you.

Once again our lovely Jo is going to do a class for us! This will require patterned paper, c/s paint and whatever embellishments you may want to put onto it. "It" is a Maya Road chipboard book and I will show some pics when JO has had a chance to do it up

There will be a challenge (or two) ........ for the first one, think ANZAC Day and bring approriate photos

Please let me know your dietary requirements as Marie and I are starting to put together the menu
